Help Design the Future of Math Learning in North Dakota

In collaboration with

Bring your experience as a math teacher to a statewide effort to reimagine middle school math—and get paid for your expertise.

The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and New Classrooms are partnering with local educators to co-design a new, personalized model for middle school math—one that helps every student build deep understanding at their own pace and gives teachers the time and support to focus on what matters most: great teaching and meaningful learning.

This effort goes beyond adopting a new curriculum. It’s about reimagining how learning happens—combining excellent instruction, flexible classroom structures, and tools that make progress visible for students, families, and teachers alike.

To make sure the design reflects the realities of North Dakota classrooms, we’re inviting up to 20 innovative educators in grades 6-8 to help shape this new model during the the next 12 months. Individual teachers and teaching teams are encouraged to apply, and all accepted participants will receive compensation.

Join a team of innovation-minded teachers helping to shape what math learning can look like for every student.
