Rachael Uggla

Vice President of Program Success

Rachael leads New Classrooms’ Program Success team, which is responsible for the success of the program in the schools we serve. That work spans implementation, academics, and product support.

Her career started in the classroom as a 9th grade inclusion teacher with Teach For America in DC Public Schools, an experience that shaped her conviction that students need instruction meeting them where they are. While teaching, she earned a master’s degree in Special Education from George Mason University, and later moved into school operations at Achievement First in Brooklyn. Since joining New Classrooms in 2013, Rachael has held a staggering number of roles across the program and product space — a vantage point that informs how she supports schools today. She also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois.

Rachael lives in Oak Park, Illinois with her husband and two kids, and is rarely without a book or an audiobook going.
